The last few weeks I have been watching tomtits building a nest in my birdhouse and feeding their young. They fly up and down all day to feed them..I wonder when they eat themselves. On a fair distance I try to capture them, they are shy and fast. I had to use some flashlight to get them both sharp (it’s a shady part of my garden). Today was the first day I saw one of the young ones. It’s a lot of fun watching him sit in front of the hole, waiting for food. It’s a mystery to me what he is sitting on to reach the hole. Maybe his brothers and sisters?

update: they are all gone..the birdhouse is deserted. I hope they are all flying around happily.
