- Catalogue Description: Armchair, walnut, unupholstered (chair originally received with later upholstery, removed for exhibition purposes). Seat covered with muslin and stuffing, no original upholstery left. Chair is dark-stained with mainly turned parts composed of rectangular back raised atop gently currving legs. set into which is an oval panel meant to be upholstered, but which is left bare. From the top of the back two small curved pieces attach to two long, straight, turned lengths of wood that form arms and front legs, while supporting the seat from two sides. The two legs joined by a front stretcher to which descend a pair of straight, turned seat supports.
