This piece measures 26.5 x 12 inches. It is on vintage 3/4″ thick plywood from an old house house remodel. The figures are mainly cut from world atlases but the one set of heads is from an old medical book. This piece is a companion to the Veg-o-Matic work posted a while ago and represents a new direction that interests me. Large mixed media and sometimes mixed species cut-out figures collaged onto heavily worked painted backgrounds. No idea where this will lead but I ended up liking this one though I still go back and forth about the yellow and green guy.
