The room appears to be a dining room, with silver arrayed on a dresser at the back of the room and china on the picture-rail. Above the picture-rail is a frieze with a repeating pattern of two teepees and four people in feathered head-dresses. There are two full-length mirrors either side of the dresser and a large, ornate, heating-stove to the right of the image.
