This is one of a series of fresh-catch photos I took one summer here in Maine. My objective was to capture the brilliance and vibrance fish only posses in the hours after being caught. Working in the fish industry, I am privileged to witness this beauty. My project consisted of one rule; photograph within six hours. This shot was all the small bait fish I caught outside my workshop on a pier in Portland, Maine one afternoon after work.
