Best-of-the-First-Year: Wild Wind – recycled metal earrings with glass pearls

Hammered tear drops of recycled metal from a broken Indian bangle still retain a shadow of their sage green hue. Drilled and hung with 1920s glass pearls, their paint chipping to reveal the milky glass beneath.
Brass tear drops hang in the centre, one collaged with paper scrap from a vintage romance novel.
These are my first hammer-crafted (as opposed to smashing things flat) earrings, I’m pretty excited!
