This is unique and expressive, as if someone comes along side a window and catches a glimpse of what's going on inside. I like the soft yet angular edginess and use of color! Leigh has an interesting way of translating music neurolinguistically from ear to eye that stimulates an interesting communication between artists; both musician and painter, and viewer. A nice triangle of intimacy shared.

Haha, yes, it seems to be more of a London and Glasgow thing.
Love the bannister liners- may have to start using that myself.

When I was in the Navy, crew members on my destroyer had a form of slang that, though it did not rhyme, was similar to rhyming slang in that it substituted one word for another, apparently unrelated, word.

Shoes were "bannisters," in homage to Roger Bannister, the first man to run a four-minute mile. Socks were "bannister liners."

Otherwise, I asked a British friend who has lived in the U.S. (and is now in Thailand) if he could suggest any rhyming slang that would be meaningful to Americans. He was outraged: "I'm from Liverpool and I don't have any truck with that stuff."
