Dr. A. Rudolph Silverston’s vacu-aerial flying machine, as seen from the rear.

This was the 2nd of Dr. Silverston’s aeronautical creations, based on his unique theory of ‘lift through suction’. Unfortunately for Dr. Silverston and his investors, this was also the second of his designs to fail in flight.
